How to Save More Money |

Do you need motivation to save more money? Have you ever thought about doing a money challenge? Money Saving Challenges are great. It keeps you accountable and it’s fun to see your money accumulate as you work toward your goal. It also gets you into a good habit of regularly saving money. Sometimes when you don’t know what to do it’s good to see what works for others and then you can decide for yourself if this would work. There are also a number of money making apps that can help you save and put more money into your pocket. I’ve done a couple challenges myself and it seems like “Life” gets in the way and suddenly my money challenge seems less important. I think this happens more often than we think and to prevent this from happening try to get an accountability partner. An accountability partner is someone who will check-in every now and then to see how you are doing in obtaining your goal. It’s something when someone knows what we’re doing, we have more fire under our belt to achieve our goal and we’d rather not disappoint them than ourselves. I find that very funny, but so true. There are many Money Challenges to consider and it all depends on how much you want to save and by when. There are many versions of the 52-Week Money Challenge. You could do 1,000 in 52 weeks, $5,000 in 52 weeks, or you could get real aggressive and do $10,000 in 52 weeks. I would much rather have something that’s a little bit more aggressive like $5,000-$10,000, what about you? You can find different money challenges here. Saving money is not easy, especially when there are so many things to pay for but there are also so many things we “think” we need but really don’t. Do you really need cable with so many other alternatives? Can you work to cut your grocery bill in half? Eat out less? There are things we can do to save money, but you just have to want it. Do you?
